Congratulations to senior Nicolette Hile on her commitment to Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio, where she will continue her academic and athletic career as a member of the Cross Country and Track & Field programs. During her time at SMCC, Nicolette has established herself as one of the premier distance athletes in the area and across the state. This past cross country season, she earned an individual qualification to the OHSAA State Cross Country Meet, solidifying her place among Ohio’s top runners. On the track, Nicolette had an outstanding junior season, advancing to regionals in the 800m and earning a spot on the podium. She is off to another strong start this season and is well-positioned for a successful postseason. In addition to her success in distance running, Nicolette has been a dedicated member of the SMCC Basketball program all four years, contributing to a memorable district tournament run this past season. Outside of athletics, Nicolette has excelled in her career pathway at EHOVE, where she recently passed her state boards and is now a licensed cosmetologist, an impressive accomplishment while balancing academics and athletics. Nicolette’s hard work, commitment, and well-rounded success make her a tremendous representative of SMCC.
